Stuart Schulzke
Principal and Co-Founder
Stuart is an early innovator around the intersection of public conversation and new media. He co-founded FORA.tv, a groundbreaking platform showcasing public conversations on issues and ideas, named by TIME as one of the world’s 50 best websites in 2009. He has recently developed VoxGov, a system for unmediated visibility into government publishing, with clients ranging from Ivy League universities to elite law firms. He holds two graduate degrees from the University of Oxford.

Heidi Hernandez Gatty
Advisor: Education Initiatives
Heidi is Vice President overseeing the Arts & Education portfolio for Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. She also currently serves as a Governing Board Member for the Walnut Creek School District. Heidi plays a valuable role in guiding Dialectic initiatives into American civic education at the primary and secondary levels.

Steve Wilson
Advisor: Content and media strategy
Currently the Chief Strategy Officer for QCODE, Steve is one of the most noteworthy innovators in the podcasting world. He previously spent 15 years as the primary architect of the Apple Podcasts brand and empire. He plays a guiding role in Dialectic's content and media strategy.

Ben McAdams
Advisor: Public policy initiatives
Former Utah Congressman and past Mayor of Salt Lake County, Ben has spent his career at the center of public debate on many of the most fraught issues facing American cities and the nation as a whole. His experience in navigating contentious issues to arrive at productive policy outcomes makes him a valuable resource.
Patrick Warren
Advisor: Tools and Research
Patrick Warren is an Associate Professor of Economics at Clemson University. Dr. Warren's diverse research includes pioneering work looking at misinformation and other strategies employed by individuals and groups through social media platforms. He is a co-founder of Clemson's Media Forensics hub and his research has been covered in a wide variety of media outlets including CNN and many other national media outlets. He holds a bachelor's degree from The University of South Carolina and a PhD in Economics from MIT
Dr. Jasper Lee
Advisor: Cognitive behavioral systems
Dr. Jasper Lee is a clinical psychologist by training, a clinical fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), and a research fellow at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Lee specializes in the use of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to treat a variety of difficulties (e.g., depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, PTSD) in his clinical practice in the Behavioral Medicine Program of the Department of Psychiatry at MGH. Dr. Lee’s primary research interests focus on treatment development to improve infectious disease outcomes as well as to reduce gun violence.
Michelle Fang
Advisor: Policy Strategy
Michelle’s passion is focused on the building of ethical technology for the future..While as an undergraduate student at Yale, she co-founded Orpheuspledge.org to help people detox from digital tech, analyzed the tech industry at Goldman Sachs and through Yale’s information society project, and currently advises Senator Richard Blumenthal on AI and tech policy broadly.
Niels Rosenquist, MD, PhD
Principal and Co-Founder
Niels is a trained psychiatrist and economist who works at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. His research currently focuses on the policy implications of social media’s impact on mental health and misinformation. His research and writing have appeared in the New York Times, The New England Journal of Medicine, and other outlets. He co-founded and received investment for JANYS analytics, which developed the first global sentiment tracker using twitter data, the IHS-WSJ Social Sentiment Index, and Rosetta Analytics, a fin-tech investment fund based on large and novel dataset analysis.
Kindra Mason
Advisor: Operations and Strategy
Kindra is a seasoned operator in the technology and venture capital industry. She has engaged thousands through curated programs and experiences and is passionate about increasing access to information and networks. Her operational background includes helping to build a $1.5B venture fund from scratch as well as scaling audiences from hundreds to thousands. Kindra holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BA with honors from Harvard University.
Jay Jay Nesheim

Jay Jay Nesheim serves as Senior Director, Communications for ESPN. In this role, Nesheim manages public relations efforts for various areas of the company including: ESPN Films and Original Content, espnW, ESPN BET, Marketing, Corporate Citizenship, and several other areas. Additionally, Nesheim oversees PR for ESPN’s annual awards show The ESPYS.
Melanie Morris
Advisor: Education Initiatives
Melanie Morris is a high school teacher in Virginia, where she has taught government, psychology, history of science, and law during her twenty years in the classroom. She is passionate about teaching metacognitive strategies to students so that they can take ownership of learning outside of the classroom and make it a life-long endeavor. She holds a BA in Government from the University of Virginia and a Masters in Teaching and Foundations from Fairfield University
Ian Puente
Advisor: Content and media strategy.
A seasoned film and media executive, Ian is currently Head of Operations & Strategy for BYU Broadcasting. He has previously held executive roles at Sony Classic Pictures, EPIX, and Samuel Goldwyn Films. Ian has played a key role in advising the development of upcoming Dialectic podcast "How to Disagree."
Dr. Tom McCoy
Advisor: Public policy initiatives
Dr. McCoy is Associate Director of the MGH Center for Innovation and Digital Health (CIDH) where he leads the data science team. His more than 90 publications encompass subjects ranging from machine learning to mobile health tracking. Dr. McCoy is a graduate of Dartmouth College, Cornell Medical College, the MGH psychiatry residency where he served chief resident, and the MGH Center for Experimental Drugs and Diagnostics translational informatics fellowship.
Eli Tillemann
Student Adviser: Education Initiatives
Eli is a senior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. He has played a leading role in facilitating the Dialectic pilot program at his high school where he serves as president of TJ's Young Democrats and Teenage Republicans.
